New Kana Document

A new document has been added in the Multimedia section in the menu on the left. It provides thorough information to learn the basic writing systems : Hiragana and Katakana.

If you are a beginner, the document is really of interest as it will help you learn how to read and write Hiragana and Katakana correctly, and will also give you further information so that they have no secrets for you any longer.

That will greatly help you go on learning Japanese.

Kana Writing Tool

I've also improved the writing tool for Kana. It will now detects and show you how to write sounds like FA, FE, FO. Those sounds are not strictly speaking Japanese sounds, but rather were introduced in the language because of the influence of foreign languages. For example "fast-food" is said "faasuto fuudo ファーストフード" in Japanese. Now the tool can show stroke oder for FA here.
